Laughing on the Lake Comedy Festival

One of the largest comedy festivals in the country is going to swim its way to the mega Ozarks Amphitheater at Lake of the Ozarks this Spring! The Laughing on the Lake Comedy Festival will come to the Ozarks on Saturday, May 16th, 2016, bringing hours of non-stop, side splitting laughter from four top named stand-up comedians! Attendees will have the opportunity to laugh until you cry as Bert Kreischer, Kathleen Madigan and Rory Scovel join Missouri native and Retail Row comedy’s featured performer Chris Porter.

Bert Kreischer

With millions of viewers from around the globe attending his hilarious stand-up comedy shows, where he performs completely bare-chested, Bert Kreischer is one of the hottest touring comedians today.

Bert has toured worldwide and all of his Netflix specials, including “Secret Time”, “Hey Big Boy”, and “Razzle Dazzle”, have collectively reached over 7 million views. Bert also hosts and produces a weekly podcast called “The Bertcast”, in which he invites a weekly guest to join him in conversation and storytelling. 

Kathleen Madigan

Kathleen Madigan brings her sophisticated comedy skillwork to the amphitheater as one of the finest female comedians working today. She’s made several appearances on late-night TV shows including The Tonight Show, Late Night with Seth Meyers and Conan; and she has released four 1-hour comedy specials including Bothering Jesus, which aired on Netflix. 

Rory Scovel

Rory Scovel is one of the most innovative modern comedians working today. He combines the highest level of off the cuff improvisation with material thought out and written ahead of time. His most recent Netflix special “Rory Scovel Tries Stand-Up for the First Time” was an innovative take on the traditional form of the special.

One of the hottest rising stars in comedy today, Chris Porter brings real Midwest comedy to his performances for audiences looking for real comedy. A four-time US Comedy Award Winner, Chris Porter brings his original style of straight-forward Mid West comedian to town.
